1. #outtakes

We spend a lot of time behind the lens, trying to capture style in all its glory and emotion. In between, there are a lot of laughs, mistakes, funny photos and sometimes images that just dont make the cut. We have thousands and thousands of images that no one ever sees.

Wednesdays are dedicated to showing you some of our favorite #outtakes. Enjoy!

  2. Most excited to see loose shapes, draped tailoring and luxe fabrics worn casually in the seasons to come. We saw hits of it for FW, so seeing this styling all over the Public School lookbook for SS15 is really exciting.

  4. Everybody and their mom says they’ve been inspired by David Bowie, but that usually just means someone unbuttons their shirt a little, lights a cigarette, pouts, and call it a day.

That said, Robert Geller isn’t the kind of guy to half-ass it when it comes to an iconic a figure like David Bowie’s Thomas Jerome Newton in The Man Who Fell to Earth. Don’t worry, though, Geller isn’t suggesting you put on snake-eye contact lenses and shave your head. Instead, opt for the subtle graphic of the Surface Printed T-Shirt and the modern trouser-slash-sweat Easy Pant. We can’t ask Mr. Newton, but we’re sure he’d approve.

  7. There’s no better time than the present to contemplate the past.

For their tenth anniversary, Wings + Horns returns to their roots, exploring the arctic climate of Canada’s northern extremes to focus on what matters—good style guided by practical necessity. The result is a homecoming of sorts, with old classics given new life and then worn alongside new essentials. It’s proof that past, present, and future are all one and the same.

Happy birthday, Wings + Horns. Here’s to another ten.

Our fall/winter collection from Wings + Horns will be available online shortly and is in store now.

  8. Let’s talk MAKEUP.

If it’s not apparel, I normally don’t keep up nor care.

With that said, I did stumble upon Chanel’s runway look and like what’s going on. A white lid with cat-eye on outer corner combined with a nude lip stood out enough to get me into MAC to mock the same look.

  9. More looks released from the SS15 OAMC collection. It’s easy to dress when all your individual pieces are so damn good.

  10. Unless you’ve been on a Peace Corps mission, spelunking through Vietnam, or living under a rock, there’s no way that you could have missed the rising star of Alexandre Mattiussi’s label AMI. After stints at Dior and Givenchy, Mattiussi has been crowned one of the newest savants of menswear and with dressed down tailoring and dressed up sportswear, it’s easy to see why guys are so drawn his cheeky sense of style.

Windowpane checks, smiley faces, bright shots of primary shades, and oh-so-lovingly-washed denim all make their appearances in this smartly updated homage to 90’s American teenage sitcoms. After all, everyone wants to be Zack Morris, or at least be as cool as he was.

Look forward to seeing it on our racks next spring.
