Swedish label Mini Market has once again outdone themselves for Fall. After winning Elle Magazine’s prestigious Designer of the Year award, the Mini Market sisters have put together an amazing collection of colors, prints and shapes to knock you to the moon. You need this shirt. We told you last Spring, and some of you listened. This time, don’t sleep! New Nom de Guerre Officer’s Shirt ($165) in 2 different plaids. Nom de Guerre has definitely made some positive changes to the sizing and pricing of this collection. The fits are more accurate in terms of “general” fits, so no guessing this time around. If you’re normally a medium, buy this shirt in a medium. It’s seriously the perfect Spring shirt. Put some color in your life.

For those of you that have not been to our new location…shame on you! Thank goodness for Cody, photographer extraordinaire, snapping a few photos to share with the world. With 6 months time to get acquainted with our new space, it’s coming along nicely. Everyday something changes, new ideas spark, or something falls off the walls that I haven’t secured very well. I live in anticipation. I feel excited, overwhelmed, anxious, and exuberant at the thought of having these pieces sit in the shop. There are so many amazing items/designers/concepts happening for Fall. Even with my new camera, I suck at capturing the reality of some of these treasures. But I tried my best to keep my cool while celebrating my first venture into footwear for the shop.

People, yes, it’s OK to gasp in pleasure.
“The Push in Vapor.” This boot has a steady platform and moderate pitch, modestly speaking considering your nose will be smelling the air of alter elevations. The soft nappa leather can be scrunched at the ankle or pulled high and fastened with velcro.
“The Weave in Black.” Combat style lace-up with mis-aligned eyelets for a unique design up the front.
“The Lean in Black.” A clog. A super rad platform clog with an adjustable buckle sling back. If you don’t already own a platform clog you need this one. Even if you do, you still need this one.
“The Split in Vapor.” Suede mesh sandal that engulfs your foot like a glove. It feels Balenciaga without the extra zero at the end.
“The Shifter in Black.” A unisex boot that can be worn folded over as a short boot or unfolded as a tall shafted boot. Genius.
“The Gather in Black.” Another repeated style from past seasons…good enough to keep around FOREVER. Unisex for all.

sugar crystals
What is it about crystals that make us so mesmerized? Perhaps it’s the jagged, colorful rocks that somewhat resemble those hubble space telescope photos of outer-space. Whatever the case, we’re hopelessly in love with the new Crystal Blouse we just received from ACNE. Off-white silk blouse with a huge crystal print on the back and cool rouching details on the front. These jackets are all about details- from the asymmetric snap closure to the long leather side ties. It’s pretty incredible how many ways you can play with this jacket’s silhouette. Valentines day is a hallmark holiday. I said it. Not taking it back. Oh, wait are those chocolates for me? Why…. flowers!? For me!??!
Okay, I’ll admit that everyone likes to be liked and loves to be loved. A little extra reminder on February 14th doesn’t hurt anyone. Unless you’re single. Kidding. Single people deserve some love on February 14th, too! If there’s one thing I’ve learned about love, it is that you have to love yourself first. Another little box from Gitman has arrived on our doorstep. We were so happy to open it and find this staring back at us. This may be a little 80’s throw back, but it’s done the right way. Wear this on a semi-warm day with some rolled up trousers and a pair of suede oxfords (we like these a lot).
