Rad by Rad is RAD
Sifting through the S10 lookbooks and realized I didn’t share the amazing pieces we picked up from Rad by Rad Hourani for Spring 2010. Yes, get excited.
Looking forward to trying the black denim cardigan, the long//drapey black & white jersey top, and most of all the zip denim…37” inseams for major major stack.

new Ann-Sofie Back
I just can’t get enough of the new Ann Sofie Back pieces that came in. It’s quite the shame she’s taking a “break” from designing her own line for Spring 2010…but perhaps the much needed rest is necessary to top what she did for the current season.
The wool jacket is not for the faint of heart. It’s not your average winter coat. With boxy//dropped...

The Ann-Sofie Back dream catcher skirt just came in. It’s an Acrimony favorite. Obviously, because I’m wearing it.

With the holidays approaching at lightening-fast speed, it’s time to start thinking about what you’re going to wear to all the parties! Planning on dancing the night away on New Years Eve? the Acrimony x TOKYO excursion -- pt. 2
After a good night’s sleep and a thorough washing on the TOTO magic toilet (which on its own can be hours of clean fun) there is more shopping and eating to be done. While the idea of shrines and temples and other cultural endeavors seem to be the logical travelers agenda, I don’t work that way. Tokyo is the consumers capital of the world. It must be conquered.

Geek Sneaks
Check out the “Blazer Pentium 1.0.” The ultimate GEEK SNEAKER. Gabriel Dishaw, junk-metal artist extraordinaire, made these sneaks out of old computer and typewriter parts. They weigh a mild 15 pounds, and can probably hack into ATM machines while you walk. Geeks and sneakers, 2 of my favorite things.

dreams of Shoes
I’ve been having vivid dreams, every night, of different concepts/themes for the back room of the shop. A few weeks ago it was taxidermy that came alive, then kitchen ware, then used wigs (real and fake hair). All of which dreams that were more like nightmares. Then, last night, I had a dream about the back room turning into a boot/high-top shoe display. All men’s shoes, all over the...

the eye behind the lens
Research for a nice camera came to a screeching halt when it suddenly dawned on me that a nice camera is useless if you don’t know how to use it. I don’t know why that took 2 weeks to figure out.
It’s often not even the “know how” in using the camera, it’s having an eye for a good photo. A nice camera is only an accessory to an amazing skill. Acrimony stumbled...
