    Shot in Paris in 1963, there’s something about this photo of Nina Simone that we just can’t forget. Maybe it’s the penetrating stare, the tilt of her head, or even just knowing the voice that she possessed. We imagine the ferocity of Joomi Lim’s Modern Tribe Spiked Plate Necklace would have suited her to a “T”.
