1. If we see one more mediocre floral print on a gorgeous girl this season, we’re going to tear our hair out. Why go for the obvious when Minimarket’s Esk Dress lets you indulge in fantastic printed silk without resorting to boring bloom? And if you must do a floral, then give it a Freudian twist like Stylestalker does with their Rorschach-inspired Parallel Universe Dress in soft poly crepe.

  2. I <3 Mom

If your mom is anything like mine, she turns on the water works when gifted thee perfect present. It has turned into a sort of shared goal in my family: To make her cry. And I’m talking bawl. Like, here are some Kleenex woman, because you love that shit so much. Navigating through Mother’s Day sales is impersonal and removed from the joy of giving something your number one lady is actually going to love. Here are a few of our favorites for our moms, and why.

My mom certainly knows her Pinots from Merlots, and is happy anytime my family sits down together to a good bottle of red wine. She and my dad spent their honeymoon exploring Northern California afoot and tasting in Napa (before it was cool to drink wine.) I think she’d love nothing more than these hardwood coasters by Roost, paired with a bottle of her choice. My mom is as classy as they come, and truly selfless; she always gives away the last pour.

The Something Else drippy floral shirt. My fondest memories of my childhood are with my mom in Hawaii. Hot summer days at the beach, her in sheer floral pieces and me in a tank top and diaper (no pants!). She gleams in bright colors and light weight fabrics. Here’s to hot moms!

My mother is an absolute fiend for scarves; runs in the family. I think I inherited my obsession for soft fabrics from her and I know she would never be able to resist something like this Minimarket scarf. Talk about hitting the soft spot!

I’d choose Anna Shefield’s Wheat Eternity band. She’s always been proud of her youthful hands (was once a hand model) and loves her rings! She’s a simple and classic lady. She’d brag to her friends throughout the years if I were to gift this ring to her.

  3. The Elvestedt sisters always have a trick up their sleeves. This season, they asked why make a plain scarf when you can make it in a fantastic shade of mint green using only fruits and spices, on a solar-powered loom, and with a specialty dye process that consumes only a fraction of a fraction of the water that others require? Woven from a featherweight micromodal and silk yarn, this scarf feels exactly like what a big bite of fresh, cold mint ice cream tastes like and as far as we’re concerned, that’s about as close to a magic trick as fashion gets.

  4. Minimarket’s Carpe Cap

Over the years, we’ve taken a nod from the guys: Denim jackets, harness boots, the perfect white V-neck, and tasseled oxfords. Not until recently however, have we reacquainted ourselves with a girlish baseball cap. Minimarket hits a home run on the first swing with their suede and mesh short bill style. This sexy snapback has an alternative feel while remaining autonomous from any niche. It can be worn with an androgynous approach, seen on Stella McCartney’s fall runway, or paired with more feminine pieces, in the likes of Herve Leger.

  5. San Franciscans are notorious for going monochromatic as soon as the mercury starts dropping, so defy expectations by adding some prints and patterns to your fall wardrobe. Whether it’s a Kai-aakmann knit skirt with a bat-infused Fair Isle, a magically effervescent Minimarket blouse, an Addison silk tunic printed with lines that zig and zag, or an ethereal Rodebjer top with a profusion of blooms, you’ll stand out against the inevitable sea of grey this season.

  6. If you ask us, nothing compares to the look and feel of film. Take another look at select ensembles from our fall women’s lookbook—this time from a whole new perspective. We guarantee that there are some details you missed the first time around.

A truly international cast of designers helps transform the Acrimony muse from moody and feminine to sporty and sleek effortlessly. Featuring select pieces from Henrik Vibskov, T by Alexander Wang, DRKSHDW, Minimarket, Funktional, LD Tuttle, Rodebjer, SUPER, Kai-aakmann, and more.

  7. FALL FAVORITES: 1. Leather 2. Cashmere 3. SNAKE PRINT ANYTHING (which is why we’re loving our new Minimarket and Veda arrivals)

  8. Peachy keen

The new Minimarket collection for Spring is over the top fun and playful. The Swedish really know how to infuse humor into their clothing, without looking like you’re “funny.” My favorite piece from Minimarket this season is the Puppet Shirt. Perfectly peach, with cut-out elbows and the perfect fit.
