We posted our favorite video from Malaysian singer-songwriter YUNA a few months back where she covered a Frank Ocean track. Then we told you about her cover of Nirvana’s Come As You Are for Kurt Cobain’s deathiversary. And what about that Pharrell produced track? She’s got this disarming, melodic Jill Scott-esque voice that makes me want to dance on clouds. Her urban/cool girl style is mysterious and captivating, like Baduism in really hot sneakers.

Everyone has an opinion about Hedi Slimane’s SS13 collection for Saint Laurent. Say what you will. I think it’s magnificent. The critics are babbling about predictability and lack of surprising elements. I think it’s young and exuberant, wearable and chic, celebratory of Yves Saint Laurent in that cool girl Parisian way. I like pussy bows. I like floppy hats. I like cropped leather pants. I like platform stiletto Mary Janes. I like sequined tailored blazers. It takes no convincing. This collection was made for me.

We are on the edge of our seats in anticipation for the new Deadly Ponies collection to arrive at Acrimony tomorrow. The collection this season is Seniorita Bandits, inspired by the Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Sugar skulls and painted faces, brightly colored bags with Mexican inspired artifacts. We can’t wait.
