Nom de Guerre’s fall/winter collection has arrived and let us tell you — it was worth the wait. Fabrics are the real star, ranging from super-tough moleskin, to plush flannel, to cozy fleece, and tech-y cotton/nylon blends. Outerwear takes center stage with parkas, coats, and jackets of every possible sort. Get in here now while our stock lasts before you’re left out in the cold.

Elite Modular Parka, $572
Tap into your inner outdoorsman with this plush, fully-lined parka. With a zipper front and looped button placket, inset ribbed cuffs, and faux-fur lined hood, there’s no cold weather that you won’t be able to handle.

Split Tail Parka (without hood), $481
This jacket shows off Nom de Guerre’s razor-sharp tailoring: even a thick cotton moleskin has structured and shape. Buttoned flap pocketed, a removable hood, functional surgeon cuffs, and adjustable hem length make this the perfect balance of form and function.

Combat Field Jacket in olive, $416

Combat Field Jacket in black, $416
There’s fewer things more painful than the transition from fall to winter, but Nom de Guerre has you covered. This cotton M-65-style jacket features four front snap-buttoned pockets, a removable hood, and an internal drawstring for fit. A metal write in the jacket’s collar and around the outside edge of the hood makes for a structured fit that’ll keep your neck and face warm in the harshest wind.

Formal Officer Shirt in black camo and solid black (fabric details), $214
Our favorite officer shirt gets remade for fall with classic details (roll-up sleeves and two buttoned flap chest pockets) with taping details down the front and in great new fabrics.

Assault Vest with Hood in black camouflage and solid black, $338
Soft fleece and weather-resistant cotton come together for the ideal jacket to get you through those misty San Francisco days. Two flap front pockets and two handwarmer pockets make sure all your stuff is stored securely while cozy cotton fleece body lining, sleeves, and hood keep you warm and dry.

Elite Combat Shirt in olive and black (neck detail, fabric detail), $253
A more rugged alternative to our other Nom de Guerre shirt, the Elite Combat Shirt is perfect on its own or as a shirt jacket. Adjustable waist buttons for fit, removable throat gorget flap, hidden button front, and buttoned flap pockets.

Infantry Overcoat, $552
Thick, sturdy double-breasted overcoat with hidden zip front in a tough cotton. Removable self-fabric belt and center back vent. Super structured but with a comfy cotton lining.

Service Flannel Shirt in indigo and black, $247
You’re going to fall in love with this over-sized flannel shirt jacket at first touch. Plush, soft cotton outer with a quilted lining, two hidden waist pockets, and two buttoned flap chest pockets makes it both cozy and useful.

Oh.
My.
God.
You guys. They’re here. We’ve honestly been going crazy waiting (and obsessively watching the UPS tracking) for our first season of shoes and I think you can see why. LD Tuttle’s shoes are jaw-droppingly gorgeous and totally different. No boring basic pumps here; only lovingly crafted shoes hand made in Italy and designed in New York. We’re sorry we made you wait over two years for us to start carrying shoes, but believe me — it was sooooooo worth the wait.

From left to right: The Lean, a leather wrapped clog with a back buckled strap; The Split, a strapped sandal with deceptively dainty-looking suede mesh inlay; and The Weave, a show-stopping heeled boot with textured and smooth leather panels and a center back zip.

From left to right: The Shifter, LD Tuttle’s ultra-clever transformable boot that goes from a tall boot to a super easy-to-wear short boot; and The Push, our favorite boot of the season, which features a wrinkled leather upper that you can pull or push to style as you please and an insanely tall wedge platform.
Now, ladies of San Francisco, you have to promise not to fight each other over these, okay?
Completely, thoroughly, utterly impressed by Austin’s new collection. We just received the Melton Wool Long Coat, the Green Wool Patch Jacket, the Terry Pullover and the 13 Loop Waxed Denim from the Odyn Vovk AW10 collection. The Melton Wool Coat is absolutely amazing. Long and slender, with definition and shape. It’s warm enough to sleep in, rad enough to travel to Antwerp in. $943

I’m obsessed with the punk influence of this jacket. It sits short, zips tight, has frayed edges, but looks like an expensive piece of work. $540

Similar to the OV Hoodie, this Terry Pullover has the slub on the outside, soft side on the reverse. The fit is slim and long, with slit pockets and a giant hood. $286

The denim really turned out amazing. This is Odyn Vovk’s signature 13-loop Japanese denim, with a wax coating. The finish is a bit shiny but will wear down quickly into the best waxed denim you’ve ever owned. $288

Yes, you have been waiting for these to come in. Yes, we have your size, but perhaps not for long. These aren’t even up on the webstore yet!

Swedish label Mini Market has once again outdone themselves for Fall. I live in anticipation. I feel excited, overwhelmed, anxious, and exuberant at the thought of having these pieces sit in the shop. There are so many amazing items/designers/concepts happening for Fall. Even with my new camera, I suck at capturing the reality of some of these treasures. But I tried my best to keep my cool while celebrating my first venture into footwear for the shop.
Enter…LD Tuttle @Acrimony for Fall 2010.
People, yes, it’s OK to gasp in pleasure.

“The Push in Vapor.” This boot has a steady platform and moderate pitch, modestly speaking considering your nose will be smelling the air of alter elevations. The soft nappa leather can be scrunched at the ankle or pulled high and fastened with velcro.

“The Weave in Black.” Combat style lace-up with mis-aligned eyelets for a unique design up the front.

“The Lean in Black.” A clog. A super rad platform clog with an adjustable buckle sling back. If you don’t already own a platform clog you need this one. Even if you do, you still need this one.

“The Split in Vapor.” Suede mesh sandal that engulfs your foot like a glove. It feels Balenciaga without the extra zero at the end.

“The Shifter in Black.” A unisex boot that can be worn folded over as a short boot or unfolded as a tall shafted boot. Genius.

“The Gather in Black.” Another repeated style from past seasons…good enough to keep around FOREVER. Unisex for all.
