You need this shirt. We told you last Spring, and some of you listened. This time, don’t sleep! New Nom de Guerre Officer’s Shirt ($165) in 2 different plaids. Nom de Guerre has definitely made some positive changes to the sizing and pricing of this collection. The fits are more accurate in terms of “general” fits, so no guessing this time around. If you’re normally a medium, buy this shirt in a medium. It’s seriously the perfect Spring shirt. Put some color in your life.

It’s not even up on the site yet, come in to check it out or give us a brrrrrrrring.

The new Odyn Vovk collection is in! Hand dyed tees, black zipper denim, more balloon shorts (both slub AND nylon), long slub cotton hoodies, leather hats and more. These pieces all work together so layer ‘em on.

We’re still waiting for the bad ass leather pieces…but for now, shop the collection HERE.

Another little box from Gitman has arrived on our doorstep. We were so happy to open it and find this staring back at us. This may be a little 80’s throw back, but it’s done the right way. Wear this on a semi-warm day with some rolled up trousers and a pair of suede oxfords (we like these a lot).

I think you need some basics. So pick one (or two or three) and add them to that small pile of “clothes you wear everyday.”

With the influx of Spring 2010 assortments bombarding me from every corner of the earth, I haven’t been able to properly look through all the must-see designers. So when the obvious inquisition about Mihara Yasuhiro S10 came up, I was embarrassingly unprepared. Well let’s go through it now, so you’re ready for it. Because it’s that f’in good.

Not your Americana, not your goth ninja, not your weird “I’m in a sand desert, eating flies for dinner,” and definitely not your grandad’s closet. I’m talking men’s fashion with a clear perspective, with key pieces you could actually wear, styled and layered beautifully, with amazingly subtle details that make sense (eh hem double cuffed shorts?!!). I’m really into the whole “structure with no structure” thing…

Pretty psyched to be getting the 3sixteen denim in for Fall. SL-100x classic fit and ST-210 wax coated slim fit. YUP.
From my friend ALEX // Homeroom. Peep his new collection of hats. Get em boy.

Update: these are all sold out!
Since the old blog went away, I’ve been missing some of my favorite posts. So every now and again they will resurge!
“Why Hello There Mr Cool”
If you’re walking around Hayes Valley and want to pop in to remind us how cool you are on an everyday basis, please feel free. Mr. Cool over here reminds us of the relevance of monochromatic pieces from head to toe, and the idea of non color as a color.

The first look, Cassette waxed cotton jacket, Endovanera henley, April 77 denim, AA scarf, Common Projects. Notice, no color, but looks oddly vibrant nonetheless.

Then we fell in love with the monochrome grey outfit he tried on in the shop: YMC henley, Nom de Guerre selvedge denim, Common Projects.
It’s pretty easy guys, keep up.
