We love cultivating our little addictions and given how much time we spend buying , selling, talking about, and sharing them, shoes are probably our biggest one. As much as I’d like to wish that $600 pairs of shoes were feasible on a weekly basis, I am a realist and know that no matter how much you love your zapatos, $600 is a spluuuuuurge. They should we well planned out purchases, spent on something you are absolutely dying for. Rich or poor.

You guys. They’re here. We’ve honestly been going crazy waiting (and obsessively watching the UPS tracking) for our first season of shoes and I think you can see why. LD Tuttle’s shoes are jaw-droppingly gorgeous and totally different. No boring basic pumps here; only lovingly crafted shoes hand made in Italy and designed in New York. We’re sorry we made you wait over two years for us to start carrying shoes, but believe me — it was sooooooo worth the wait.

From left to right: The Shifter, LD Tuttle’s ultra-clever transformable boot that goes from a tall boot to a super easy-to-wear short boot; and The Push, our favorite boot of the season, which features a wrinkled leather upper that you can pull or push to style as you please and an insanely tall wedge platform.

Now, ladies of San Francisco, you have to promise not to fight each other over these, okay?

These Generic man shoes have been stomping around in my head for 2 weeks now. I’m obsessed with the cognac wingtip with Vibram sole. A bit chunky, a diversion from the super skinny/low profile oxfords that have been stealing the scene for so long. Slightly reminiscent of a Visvim shoe I was in love with (until someone started wearing it and it became my most hated shoe), wears a bit like a Red Wing but NOT A REDWING. Italian made, lightweight, pebbled leather and most of all, a refreshing style for the gentleman.

And then there’s him. More Vibram sole but with a thick canvas upper. One piece top panel, white trim, perfect for warm weather shorts and tee’s. Hopefully these will be sitting in our shop for you to see next Spring.
